Who discovered flags?

The origin of mordern flags lies in our remote prehistoric past. When people started to form large groups to live and hunt together, they appointed a leader to rule them and settle disputes. As a mark of office this leader would ware some sort of ceremonial head-dress and held a long decorative staff, rod or spear, topped with an ornament or tribal emblem. The staff was also used as a visable sign to rally around, or to point out the direction of a march or attack. This prehistoric, or proto-flag, is known as a vexilloid. Later in Ancient China, a different tradition developed when silk was invented between 6000 and 3000 BC. This strong, light fabric was ideal for making banners, which were much easier to carry than the vexilloids that had been used eailier, and they were also easier to see from a distance. From Ancient China the use of fabric flags spread to Mongolia, Japan, India, Persia, Ancient Greece, and finally the Roman Empire and the rest of Europe.
The usage of flags spread from India and China, where they were almost certainly invented,[1] to neighboring Burma, Siam, and southeastern Asia.[1]
The Persians used Derafsh Kaviani as the flag, at the time of Achaemenian dynasty at 550–330 B.C. Afterwards it was used in different look by the late Sassanid era (224-651). It was also representative of the Sassanid state – Ērānshāhr, the “Kingdom of Iran” – and may so be considered to have been the first “national flag” of Iran.
Originally, the standards of the Roman legions were not flags, but symbols such as the eagle of Augustus Caesar’s Xth legion; this graphic of the eagle would be placed on a staff for the standard-bearer to hold up during battle. But a military unit from Dacia had for a standard a dragon with a flexible tail which would move in the wind; the legions copied this, and eventually all the legions had physically flexible standards–the modern-day flag.
During the Middle Ages, flags were used for a variety of purposes including: identification of members of nobility, guilds, cities, religious worship, and for use during battles. In battle, flags were used by military companies for identification on the field and relaying of strategic instructions. Though not always, flags could identify individual leaders: in Europe, monarchs and knights; in Japan, the samurai; in China, the generals under the imperial army; and in Mexico, the Aztec alliances.
From the time of Christopher Columbus onwards, it has been customary (and later a legal requirement) for ships to carry flags designating their nationality;[2] these flags eventually evolved into the national flags and maritime flags of today. Flags also became the preferred means of communications at sea, resulting in various systems of flag signals; see, International maritime signal flags.
As European knights were replaced by centralized armies, flags became the means to identify not just nationalities but also individual military units. Flags became objects to be captured or defended. Eventually these flags posed too much of a practical danger to those carrying them, and by World War I these were withdrawn from the battlefields, and have since been used only at ceremonial occasions.

All of the features of the console were released by Nintendo at E3.[15] On July 28, 2004, Nintendo revealed a new design, one that was described as “sleeker and more elegant” than the one shown at E3. Also, the codename “Nintendo DS” became the official name of the console that day.

Video games are made in many ways but the most type in flash games look up how tto make flash games not the expert.
You cant just make a video game by yourself, you will need help making it and putting it on a disc. Do you mean like a Nintendo Wii game etc? or a Computer game? computer games are easier because some of them include no discs. Wii games are harder you have to program it and print it from a special mission and print the data of the game on the disc create a box/game thing over the disc so the disc doesn`t fall out, make the cover and copy it loads of times and then send it off to the store ready for selling.

World War 1 ended in 1918 with the treaty of Versailles. It started with the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand in 1914. Most histories of the Second World War give September 1st 1939 as the beginning the WW2. This is the date on which Germany invaded Poland. Within two days, Both France and Great Britian had declared was on Germany, as they had pledged to do in the event of an attack on Poland. The war between China and Japan dates from 1937, or even from 1931, if the Japanese occupation of Manchuria is seen as a defining event. Certainly, conflict in Asia became part of the 2nd World War in December of 1941, when the Japanese attacked American British, and Dutch forces in various parts of Asia and in Hawaii. It was also at that point in 1941, shortly after the beginning of war between Japan and the US, that the US entered the war against Germany. Germany surrendered to the victors: the US, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union (along with many smaller allied nations), in May of 1945. Japan formally surrendered to the US September 2, 1945. The Soviets had entered the war against Japan only two months earlier, occuping Manchuria. Others in the victorious coalition in Asia included China, Great Britian, and Australia. The generally accepted dates for World War 2 are 1939 to 1945.

Germany occupied Czechoslovakia in March 1939. (Note from Agilis: no war or fighting followed this occupation. It was, in fact, agreed to in advance by the British and French “peace in our time”)
On December 7 1941, Japan attacked British, Dutch and American holdings with near simultaneous offensives against Southeast Asia and the Central Pacific, including an attack on the American naval base of Pearl Harbor.

However- Germany didn’t reunite as a whole democratic republic until 1990; before then (as Agilis pointed out) it was split into the German Ferderal Republic and the German Democratic Republic. Because the German surrender was signed as a whole democratic republic (which didn’t actually exist) the war technically continued until it reformed in 1990, thus making the surrender complete.
Which means there were 31 years between the start of World war 1 and the end of World War 2. Not Including the years in between it was 10 years total/
